How to order Custom Sizes

There are minimum and maximum custom sizes. Larger sizes cost less/m2 as shown in the Measurement Price Bands displayed.

NB: Due to natural shrinkage in the manufacturing process, there may be a +/- 3% size variation on made-to-measure mats made with borders. The custom size you enter is the size the mat will be made to, which includes the borders. Mats made without borders are cut to your exact size requirement.

Ordering to fit in a Mat Well / Recess

Choose ‘No Rubber Border’. Ensure you measure accurately. You may wish to add a little to each dimension, to allow you to trim to size on-site to ensure a snug fit. This is simple to do with a sharp utility knife and steel rule. The total mat depth is approx 11.5mm and is recommended for use in mat wells with a depth of between 9mm and 11.5mm.

Delivery timescale

Due to the custom nature of these mats, a lead time of approx. 2 weeks is required for production and delivery. The mats are currently being made in our EU factory, and you will receive notifications from our courier DHL when your mat is on its way to you. Eco-Friendly

Made from recycled materials, Shades Eco Heavy Duty Mats are the eco-friendly choice of floor mat. The face, 95% constructed of recycled PET plastic bottles, is incredibly stain resistant and easy to clean without the need for chemicals. The mats can also be laundered in a washing machine. The fact that they are so durable, means that the mats are replaced less often and so fewer end up in landfill.

Sizes

We understand that every space has different requirements. That’s why we offer our 13mm depth artificial coir matting in two length options (front to back measurement) and custom width (left to right measurement), which can be easily further cut to fit as required:

1. 100cm roll cut to custom width by linear cm
2. 200cm roll cut to custom width by linear cm

This allows you to choose the size that best fits your entrance area or mat well / recess.

NB: Here’s a tip for maximum scraping: The ridges on the material should run perpendicular to the direction of traffic (think left to right, as shown in the image above). This will provide the best scraping performance. Enter this measurement in the Custom Width box. For the direction you walk over the mat (front to back), you can choose from sizes 100cm or 200cm. These can be further cut down to your desired size if needed.

Customisation

Ribbed Synthetic Coir Mats are available in two length options (front to back measurement) and custom widths (left to right measurement) which we cut to size by the cm. You can easily further cut to fit the matting as required with a sharp knife. This makes them ideal for any space where you need a mat that fits an entrance area or mat well perfectly.

To order custom widths, enter the number of centimetres you require into the ‘Enter Measurement Here’ box that appears after you’ve selected your colour and choice of 100cm or 200cm.

E.g. For a 120cm width of the 100cm roll, choose ‘100cm x Custom Width’ and enter Quantity 120 into the measurement box.

Durable commercial quality PVC entrance matting tiles, with scraper fabric, suitable for high traffic entrances. Effective at removing dirt and moisture from footwear and wheeled traffic. Safe for high heels and will not buckle under the weight of a heavy trolley.

The tiles clip together and can unclip for cleaning or replacement. Individual tiles can be replaced without needing to replace the whole system.

The carpet inserts effectively remove moisture, are exceptionally durable and crush resistant. They are made from ECONYL®, a recycled material made from materials including used fishing nets.

Anthracite colour effectively masks dirt. Closed surface, which stores the dirt and moisture in the lower level of the tile preventing it from falling onto the surface below.

Supplied in packs of 8 or in single tiles to ensure you can order exactly what you need and to minimise wastage. Each tile measures 29 x 44cm. Each pack of 8 will cover 1.02 m2.
